 As we read previously, there was news rounding up that private airlines could be soon flying to gulf if they have completed 3 years of domestic flying in Indian skies, but according to news revealed recently, the cabinet were group of Ministers(GoM) referred that the private airlines which were started close to 2005 in India, may be getting permission to fly international destinations even though they have not completed 5 years in domestic market.
So the Union Cabinet are looking up to set up GoM as to do detailed research on this issue, so that required results can take place.
Praful Patel, Civil aviation minister firstly decided to reduce the 5 years term to 3 years if the private airlines have served domestic flights in India. But now the plan is such that, based on the finance and fleets of the airlines, they may be given the go ahead signal to start opearting international flights.
If this plan is implemented then airlines such as Kingfisher, Paramount Airways, IndiGo, Air Deccan and SpiceJet may be given the green signal to fly abroad. All the other policies will be deduced if the airlines can operate in International standards and have enough capability to expand its fleets.

 Kingfisher airlines, who owns Airbus A380 in India, are planning to order 5 more Airbus A380 according to sources who revealed about this mega purchase.
Along with this order there are more orders put in place for 5 A340-600S and 5 A350S at this months Paris Air show, as per the information revealed by the sources. The value of this purchase may be estimated at $3.6 billion.
The A380 brought by Vijaya Mallya is already booming in India and there are plans such that as said by Anish Desai that "The bet on this aircraft is that it will bring down fares on routes between key cities," an analyst at ABN Amro Asia Equities Ltd.in Mumbai, which means that would spur demand.
A Mumbai based analyst,Amitabh Chakraborty said that "Kingfisher has to buy new planes to add more routes and increase its market share.There is a tremendous amount of latent demand in India that needs to be serviced by the carriers."
Along side Emirates airlines, Singapore airlines and Qantas Airways, Kingfiher airlines may be the 4th A380 customer to place additional orders.
Kingfisher airlines are targeting customers in Jet Airways Ltd, which is considered to be India's largest domestic carrier and are planning to become the largest passenger carrier in near future.According to Indian Government, India,s Air travel market may grow sixfold to 180 million passengers by 2020.
It looks like there are more demands for flights in India and we may see many more Airlines rising in India, which is consider to be the second fastest growing major economy.
There are 450 planes costing 30 billion US dollars from Airbus and Boeing in the past four years so that this increase in fleet may provide better services for increasing people who want to travel by Air. Airlines in the country may buy another 1,110 planes valued at $105 billion by 2025, Airbus said Dec. 7.

 Plans are being made by Paramount airways to gain in more aircraft into its fleet. The airlines have got in touch with Brazilian government in order to buy 40 more Embraer jets to increase its fleet to already existing 15 Embraer jets. Brazil president who visited India recently, will be co-operating in bringing up a maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) facility in India for Paramount's Brazil-built Embraer fleet.
"We plan to have a national footprint by 2011 after our fleet acquisition plan gets completed," Mr. Thiagarajan said.
The order set for buying the 40 jets may cost almost 2 billion US dollars.
But there is another news rounding up in the lines about Paramount wanting to buy Go Air stakes, but Mr. Thiagarajan said "I do not want a dialogue through the media. Paramount is looking for acquiring an airline as it will give us access to infrastructure, parking bays, ground facilities, airport counters and other facilities and help us consolidate our position," indicating that they are on the move to buy stakes in another airlines to get their presence felt in Northern region of India and expand their airlines travel whole over India.
In January Paramount airways started new services in 2007 which increased their daily flights to 42 across 6 destinations.
Banking sources lightly revealed that Rs 500 crore may be spent to obtain Go air, but no news has yet been confirmed.
With this stakes purchasing plans, Indian aviation have seen major deals happening between airlines and may also see more deals taking place soon. |
