Airlines in India

Indian Airlines flies to 63 destinations and is a state-owned major airline based in Mumbai. In 2005, the airline was rebranded as Indian. Its two main hubs are: Chhatrapati Shivaji International Airport (Mumbai) and Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi). (more on Indian Airlines)

Jet Airways is said to be India's largest airline and currently operates over 400 flights daily to 67 destinations worldwide. Jet Airways is owned by Naresh Goyal. Besides Mumbai it has its secondary hubs at Delhi, Chennai, Bengaluru, Pune and Kolkatta.  (more on Jet Airways)

SpiceJet is based in Gurgaon and flies to 22 destinations across India, Nepal and Sri Lanka. SpiceJet was voted as the best low-cost airline in South Asia and Central Asia region by Skytrax in 2007, according to Wikipedia. It's main hub is: Indira Gandhi International Airport (Delhi).
