Currently Air India is planning to increase its fleet size as to provide services to many more International destinations. Air India is planning to form Star Alliance to enlarge its fleet and to become one of the biggest South Asian airlines. As Air India merges in future with Indian airlines, it plans to become on of the biggest airline services totaling its fleet’s size 130 to 140 aircrafts. Also as Air India tries to replace its Boeing 747-400 within 2011 with Boeing 747-8 and the Airbus A380, the airlines plans to provide a world class service at offer in its services.
