The water consumption in Delhi compared to other cities is high. The main source of water, supplied by Delhi Jal Board is 650 MGD (million gallons per day) and the remaining need of water is met by private and public tube wells and hand pumps.
Delhi covers 1,483 sq Kilometers of area and is situated in the heart of India, in the Northern parts of India.
And Delhi city has high literacy rate of 81.82% compared to other cities in India. The sex ration in Delhi is 821 women per 1000 men.
